Will it hurt my dog?

It's made for trimming the fur around the pads. Keep the head flat against the pad, go slowly, and stop if your dog pulls away. Short sessions work better than one long one.

My dog is nervous about noise. Will this work?

It has a small motor, so it makes a noise. Run it across the room with treats for a few days before it touches a paw. Days 1–3 of our free 7-Day Method walk you through it.

Does it work for big dogs, small dogs and cats?

Yes, for touch-ups: paws, face, ears and rump. It isn't made for trimming a whole coat.
