PawGlow Nail Grinder
Your dog doesn't hate the grinder. He hates being surprised by it.
Here's how it usually goes. You buy a nail grinder, switch it on, and reach for a paw. Your dog panics. You feel like the bad guy. The grinder ends up in a drawer, and three weeks later you're back at the groomer handing over $22 for four minutes of work.
That's not a bad dog. It's a missing step — and it's the step nobody sells you.
What actually comes with this
A quiet rotary grinder with a diamond bit, three speeds, an LED light and USB-C charging. Same hardware category as everyone else's, and we're not going to pretend otherwise.
What's different is the 7-Day Method — the introduction routine that gets a nervous dog from "won't let you near the paw" to a full set of nails. Ten minutes a day for a week. It's free, it's on our site right now before you've bought anything, and it works with any grinder including one you already own.
Why a grinder instead of clippers
- You can stop at any moment. Clippers commit you the instant you squeeze. A grinder takes a little at a time, so you can check the nail after every couple of seconds.
- You can see the stop sign. As you approach the quick a pale chalky oval appears in the centre of the cut end — including on black nails, where you cannot judge it from the outside.
- Rounded, not split. Ground nails don't leave the sharp edge that snags carpet and catches on skin.
- The quick recedes. Small amounts taken often will slowly shorten an overgrown quick. One big trim won't.

The guarantee that matters
Follow the 7-Day Method. If your dog still won't tolerate it after a week, email us — full refund, and keep the grinder.
We can do that because the method genuinely works for most dogs, and because we'd rather lose the $35 than have another grinder go in another drawer. You don't need to ship anything back.
What this won't do
It won't fix every dog in seven days. Some need three weeks, and a few — usually dogs with a genuinely bad past experience — need a trainer's help, which no tool replaces. It also isn't a treatment for anything: if your dog is limping, constantly licking a paw, or their nails are splitting or discoloured, see your vet rather than buying this.
Questions owners ask
Is it loud? It's a small rotary motor, so it hums and vibrates — quieter than clippers are frightening, but not silent. Days 1 to 3 of the method exist precisely because of this.
Will it be strong enough for thick nails? For most dogs, yes. For a very large dog with thick, long-neglected nails, expect several short sessions rather than one.
Can I use it on my cat? Yes, on the lowest speed, and expect the introduction to take longer than a week.
My dog has black nails and I'm scared. That's the most common message we get. Read the "how to not hit the quick" section of the method — the pale oval is visible on black nails even though the quick isn't.
How long does delivery take? 2–3 weeks. We ship from our overseas maker, and we'd rather tell you that plainly than promise two days and disappoint you. Start the method with the grinder you own while you wait — Days 1 to 4 don't need this one.
Start tonight
Day 1 takes three minutes and the grinder never touches your dog. Read the method first — then decide whether you need this.
