For full coat work, owners step up to the Home Grooming Clipper. See where most people start
Not sure this is the right place to start? Tell us what your dog actually does and a real person will reply within 1 business day — often with “don't buy anything yet.”

Three tools in one body, and all of them quiet.

Most home grooming fails for one reason: the clipper is too loud and the dog is gone by the third pass. This one runs at around 60 decibels — roughly the level of ordinary conversation — so a two-minute tidy-up stays a two-minute tidy-up.

What makes it worth owning is that the head comes off. One rechargeable body, three snap-on heads, so the same device does the coat, the nails and the fiddly bits between the pads.

The three heads

  • Wide clipper blade — for the back, flanks and matted patches. Steel, rounded teeth, sits flat against skin without catching loose folds.
  • Nail grinder head — files rather than crushes, so you take a fraction of a millimetre at a time and can stop the moment you see the quick. Works on black nails where clippers are a guess.
  • Narrow paw trimmer — a slim curved head for between the toes and around the pads, which is where the fur that makes dogs skid on hard floors actually grows.

Why it works

  • Around 60 dB — the single most important spec on a home grooming tool, and the one most brands never publish.
  • Two speeds on every head — slow for a nervous dog, faster once he's settled.
  • USB rechargeable — about two hours of use per charge, no cord across the dog.
  • Heads lift off for rinsing — so the blade doesn't clog and pull on the second pass.
  • Light in the hand at 240 g — easy to angle one-handed while the other steadies him.

Specifications

  • Power: USB rechargeable, 5 W, approx. 2 hours per charge
  • Noise: approximately 60 dB
  • Heads: wide clipper blade (approx. 26 mm), nail grinder, narrow paw trimmer (approx. 19 mm)
  • Body: ABS, 240 g
  • In the box: shaver body, three heads, lubricating oil, cleaning brush, USB cable
  • Shipping: free US delivery, typically about 8 days

Not a replacement for a full-body groom on a dense double coat — this is the between-visits tool, and the nail head means you don't need a separate grinder for touch-ups.

On reviews. We launched in 2026 and we don't have hundreds of them yet. We won't invent them, and we won't import someone else's. Every review on this site comes from someone who actually bought from us — so the number stays small for a while, and it stays real.

Shipping & delivery

Shipping is free on every US order, with no minimum. We hand your order off within 1–2 business days, and delivery is typically about 8 days from there — on every product we sell.

That is a typical transit time rather than a guarantee, so a slow week can add a few days. If you order several items they may ship separately and arrive a few days apart, with tracking for each. Full details in our shipping policy.

30-day returns & the Keep-It Guarantee

If it isn't right for your dog, you have 30 days after delivery to request a return. Email support@stillwaggingco.com with your order number and we'll walk you through it.

The Keep-It Guarantee: work through the 7-Day Method and if your dog still won't let you near the nails, we refund you in full and you keep the tool. Don't ship it back — just tell us what happened and on which day. See our full return policy.

Will this work for my dog?

Start with what your dog will actually let you do today, not what you wish he would.

Won't let you touch the paw at all? Begin with the Nail Scratch Board — nothing is held, so there's nothing to fight.
Tolerates handling but panics at the clippers? The Nail Grinder plus the 7-Day Method.
Black nails you can't read? The LED Clippers light the quick from behind.

Still not sure? Ask a real person

Tell us what actually happens when you try — does he pull the paw away, leave the room, or freeze? Send us a couple of sentences through our free grooming check and a real person will reply within 1 business day with a specific starting point.

Often the answer is “don't buy anything yet, try Day 1 tonight with what you own.” We'd rather say that than sell you a tool that ends up in a drawer. For anything that looks injured, infected or painful, your vet is the right first call.
